BreedWise operates primarily as a local, on-device application. The App may store the following information that you provide:
Information You Enter
- Mare profiles, including names, breeding history, and reproductive cycle data
- Stallion records and breeding method details
- Ultrasound results, teasing scores, and uterine edema data
- Pregnancy check records and foaling outcomes
- Daily logs and notes you enter into the App
Device & Technical Information
- The App does not automatically collect personal information, location data, or device identifiers
- No analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking libraries are included in this version of the App
How We Use Your Information
All data you enter into BreedWise is used solely to provide the App's core functionality:
- Displaying and managing your mare and stallion records
- Tracking reproductive cycles and generating breeding summaries
- Calculating pregnancy timelines and foaling dates
- Storing your logs and notes for your own reference
Your data is not used for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose.
Data Storage
All data entered into BreedWise is stored locally on your device. The App does not transmit your data to any external servers or cloud services.
You are responsible for the security of your device and the data stored on it. If you uninstall the App, locally stored data may be permanently deleted.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties. BreedWise does not integrate with any third-party services that would receive your data.
The only exception would be if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
Children's Privacy
BreedWise is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.
Your Choices
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your information at all times:
- Edit or delete any records within the App at any time
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data from your device
- Clear the App's data through your device's app settings
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality or applicable law. When we make significant changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document.
Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
